Another Weekend in the Low Country

We had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I got to watch the Patriots preseason game and, even though it was all the second string and rookie players, they played a pretty good game. Saturday night we went to my friends house for a house warming party. She is the one that will be living right down the street from us and I love her house. She and her husband got a real "Charleston" style home with the double porches in the front. We got to meet some other people that live in the neighborhood too, so it was good for us to meet them. We tried to go by our house before the party, but it was too dark, so we went by again this afternoon to take some pictures. Here are the latest:

Me and my soon-to-be-neighbor in front of our soon-to-be-house.

Me standing on our parking pad behind the house.

Our kitchen cabinets! Our countertops should be in soon...

My bath tub!

Looking up at me from the living area. We have a nice cathedral ceiling in the living area!

Before we went by the house today, we went by and watched our hotel's softball team play in their "finals". The team is mostly comprised of interns. The one that worked in our office was so loud and drunk and all of about 21 years old. Hubby was ready to run back to the car within the first 2 minutes. He was amazed that no one has strangled her yet. A friend of ours asked if she was that obnoxious at work, oh yeah she is. I know that I was probably not the most mature person in the world, but I don't think I EVER acted like that. She and some of the other girl interns are all sorority types and just say stupid things constantly. I think I would die of shock if one of them said something intelligent...
